Mrs. Hayhoe was an avid Michigan State University sports fan, collector of "Teddy Bears" from all over the world, loved to take short trips, an avid reader and loved to attend activities and presentations at the Wharton Center.
Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Donald: 1 daughter, Christine (Richard) Phillips of Oak Harbor, WA; 2 sons, Michael of Burlington Iowa and David (Angela Warren) of Grand Ledge; 5 grandchildren Keri, Viki and Paul Phillips, Morgan, Joseph and Emily Hayhoe and 1 great-grand child, Dakota.
Funeral services were held Thursday at the Gorsline-Runciman Chapel, Lansing with Pastor Jim Mort of Trinity United Methodist Church and Pastor Rae Franke, officiating.
