Hart Waldrep is the son of Simeon Brooks Waldrep and Nancy Catherine Roden Waldrep. He married twice: First on 13 March 1890 he married Luncinda B (called Siney or Sinda) Murray. Siney was the daughter of Wiliam Deaton Jackson Murray (family called him John) and Susan Anna Isbell Murray. Siney was struck by lightning while brushing her hair while standing in an open window during a bad storm. They had three children:Willie B Waldrep who married David Wheeler Kidd and Thomas Manuel;a son born January 1899; and Virga Clara "Virgie" Waldrep born 1902. The son was listed as Homer S Waldrep born Jan 1899 on the 1900 census record and was listed as William S Waldrep on the 1910 census record.No further information on the son is known.

Secondly he married Arminta Jane "Mittie" Whitworth. Mittie is also buried at Providence Cemetery.
