Louise was a graduate of Columbia High School and Columbia College. She taught for 35 years in elementary schools in Richland District One. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. She was a lifelong member of Eau Claire Baptist Church where she was a vocalist in the Adult Choir and taught children and youth in Sunday School.
Survivors include sisters, Margaret Ellen McLeod Edwards and Mary Duke McLeod Reed (Joe), both of Columbia; a brother, Joseph Douglas McLeod (Betty) of Wallkill, New York; best friend, Bill Montague of Columbia; and 17 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Oswell Boyce McLeod, Jr., and Robert Clifton McLeod, Sr.; and sisters, Mildred Kathleen McLeod and Martha Elizabeth McLeod Bozard.
