BROGAN, MYRTLE ETHEL - age 93 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 27, 2007. She was a member of Hines Valley Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, George Brogan and her daughter, Edna Brooks. Survived by her sons, Bill Brogan and wife, Ruby of Maryville, J.C. Brogan and fiancée Rhonda Williams of Knoxville; daughter, Magnolia Patty and husband, Calvin of Knoxville; son-in-law, Leo Brooks of Knoxville; sisters, Della Mae Phillips of Maryville and Rosetta Coppock of Friendsville 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Click Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Marietta Cemetery.

Myrtle was the daughter of William and Sallie Ousley.

Myrtle married George Brogan, 11 Apr 1931 in Union County, TN.

Note: I spoke with Myrtle once in the mid 90s as I worked on my family genealogy. Myrtle was very helpful and even sent me a photo of herself and George. She was a very nice lady.
