WATER VALLEY - Wanda Hall York, 71, died Wednesday, Feb. 9. She was born March 2, 1933, in Panola County to the late Walter Hall and Lovie Weeks. She was a retired employee of the Yalobusha General Hospital and a member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Water Valley.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Seven Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Ken Izzard officiating. Burial will be in Lovejoy Cemetery in Panola County.

Survivors include three sons, Travis G. York and Don York, both of Water Valley, and Joe York of Columbus; six sisters, Dorothy Hendrix of Batesville, Audrey Simpson of Monee, Ill., Flora Cantin of Horn Lake, Ivy McMinn of Bay Springs, Annie Ruth Hughes of Courtland and Joan Kiihnl of Enid; two brothers, Walter Hall of Pope and Larry Hall of Sardis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dero York Jr., in August 1988.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Woodland Hills Baptist Church, P.O. Box 801, Water Valley, MS 38965.
