Maude Jackson was born April 22, 1887 in Tunnel Hill, Johnson County, Illinois to William Calvin Jackson and Mary Elizabeth Lambert. She married Charles Henry Prather about 1905. They had 9 children. Maude died in Alexander County September 17, 1940. She is buried in Hutchison Cemetery between Thebes and Gale, Illinois.
