Jessie Mae Eddy, the daughter of Jean and R.H. Curl was born Oct 4, 1888 near Wellman, Iowa and passed away Oct 1, 1973 at the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital at the age of 84 years, 11 months and 27 days.
On Oct. 11, 1916, she was united in marriage to Elmer Eddy and he preceded her in death, Sept. 1, 1952. She was a resident of Sharon Chapel vicinity for over 50 years before moving to Centerville five years ago to reside at 1400 South 20th St.
She was a member of the Sharon Chapel Methodist Church and had also attended services at the Nazarene Church in Centerville when she was able.
She is survived by a daughter Mildred King of Centerville, a son, Don Beer of McFall Missouri, a step daughter, Eleanor Dozier of Taulsa Oklahoma and 8 grandchildren.Richard King, Centerville, Delbert King and Carolyn Springer, both of Des Moines, Marilyn Mullins of Gleason, Wisc., Gary King of Charleston, South Carolina, Don Beer, Jr., of Houston, TX and Norma Yancy and Albert Dozier of Tulsa, Oklahoma, 18 great grandchildren and two brothers, John Curl and Hugh Curl of Long Beach, California, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a step son, Kenneth Eddy, one sister and two brothers.
