George.C. Smith, 89, Borger resident for the past two years, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H.A. O'Dell, 923 N. Coble, at 7:30 Saturday night. Mr. Smith had lived near Hereford for thirty years prior to coming to Borger. Survivors besides Mrs. O'Dell are another daughter, Mrs. Bert Roberts of Stanton, Mich., four sons, Ralph and Frank Smith, both of Stanton, Michigan and L.A. and O.G. Smith of Hereford, 27 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. The body is resting at the Blackburn-Shaw Funeral home pending the completion of funeral arrangements.
