BARTOW -- Mrs. Cleo Hagler of Bartow died of heart failure Thursday (Aug. 5, 2004) at Palm Garden of Winter Haven. She was 92.
Born in Lyons, Ga., on Feb. 1, 1912, she came to Bartow from South Bay 75 years ago. She was a citrus worker for Donald Duck Citrus in Lake Wales and was formerly employed by Bordo Citrus in Bartow. She was a member of Main Street Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hagler was preceded in death by her husband, R.G. Hagler. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Martin, Bartow; son, Bobby Walker, Brandon; brother, Dorsey Hall, Hendersonville, Tenn.; sister, Anne Maude Buxton, Bartow; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 E. Main St., Bartow. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow.
