Born in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late James Edward Hodge and Willie Caves Hodge.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Dola Cole Hodge; one son Claude J. Hodge, Youngstown, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Cramer, Youngstown, Mrs. D.D. Turner, Nyack, NY, Mrs. Patsy Lesters, Dublin; one sister, Mrs. Lille Tabor, Pulaski; one half brother Dan Hodge, Pulaski; three half sisters Mrs. Hobe Wornell and Mrs. Woddie Sutphin, Pulaski; and Miss Mary Hodge, Draper; and 11 grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 pm Wednesday from the Dora Highway Baptist Church with the Rev. Edgar O'Dell officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery.
