She was born in 1828 or 1829 in Quebec, Canada.
The death certificate of her son Elijah H Lambert lists her name as "Mary Bebo" not Bibo. Perhaps her original name was Bibeau, since she was born in Quebec, and likely her name would have been French.
She was a convert from Roman Catholicism to Swedenborgianism [Emanuel Swedenborg, Swedish scientist, mystic, philosopher and theologian, 1668-1772; his followers founded the Church of the New Jerusalem].
She and her husband lived in a tiny town named Brewerton, on Lake Oneida, in New York state, until he abandoned her and the children.
She and the children migrated via the Ohio River and then up the Mississippi River from Cairo to the Glencoe, Minnesota [McLeod County] area and homesteaded there.
She died in Fergus Falls, Otter Tail, Minnesota.

Death notice from the "Ugeblad" of Fergus Falls, Minnesota dated 12 Feb 1890:
Mrs. Lambert, mother of the Lambert Brothers here in town, died on Sunday in her son's house in the inner part of town. She was 63 years old.
