Beulah "Bee" Brown grew up on a two-story frame house in Mt. Pleasant where she graduated in the top 1/3 of her high school. Prior to marriage, she worked as the private secretary for the manager of a local sugar beet factory. Bee worked in the Mt. Pleasant Water Dept, promoted to secretary of the City Manager then office manager for the city offices. She became a traveling sales lady for the Grover Book Company for ten years, traveling all over the state in a company car. After marriage and raising four children (serving as president of the P.T.A.), she returned to work as a secretary for Tiny Tot Diaper Service in Saginaw. After Gary retired from G.M., Bee became manager of the Ambassador Arms Apartment complex in Saginaw. (bio by David Brown)
