James Kirk Hilliard, aged 50 years, died Thursday, March 28, at Pittsburgh, after a lingering illness. He was born in Butler county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John McMillan Hilliard, of Allegheny township. He is survived by his wife, and two children, Charles Eugene and Ruth Helen; also three sisters and five brothers.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, March 29, at the home of his sister, Mrs. J. C. Stoops, of Karns City. Burial was in the Bear Creek cemetery, near Petrolia.
