Ralph was born in Skowhegan on April 21, 1926, the son of Ivol and Frances (Brooks) Hall.
Ralph was a World War II veteran and veteran of the Korean War. He was employed at the Foxboro Company in Foxboro, Mass., and later Keyes Fiber Co. in Fairfield.
He married the former Glenice Cole on June 10 in 1950 and they just had their 58th wedding anniversary while Ralph was at Togus.
He was predeceased by his mother, Frances Hall Jones; a stepfather Ralph Jones; and a small son, Dale Benjamin Hall.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 58 years, Glenice; a daughter, Linda Cayer and her husband, Steve; grandson, Andrew Cayer; granddaughter, Sarah Cayer and her fiancé, Adam Gilman; and great-granddaughter, Natalie Marie Gilman.
At the family's request there will be no visiting hours. There will be a graveside service at noon Friday, June 20, at Greenlawn Rest Cemetery in Clinton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ralph's memory to the Oakland Fire and Rescue, P.O. Box 187, Oakland, ME 4963.
