LINLEY--Mrs. Annie L. Linley, 61, 418 Kennon Rd, died 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, 1960, in St. Anthony hospital after long illness. Born May 21, 1899, in Brilliant, AL, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Paul Eddy. Lived 10 years in Rockford, coming here from Arkansas. Married to Rufus D. Linley in Alabama Feb., 2, 1919. He died in 1938. Employed as leathercutter by Estwing Manufacturing Co. for 10 years. Survivors include: two sons, Arthur and Paul, both of Rockford; two daughters, Mrs. Lorene Shepard in Oklahoma, and Mrs. Eulene Sheeley, East St. Louis; three step sons, Anderson Linley, Kennet, MO, and William and Davis Linley, both of California; four brothers, Dowell of Rockford, Herbert of Brilliant, AL, John of Rock Springs, WY, and Phillip of Canton, GA; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Rawls, Brilliant, AL, and Mrs. Wilmot Walker, Saltillo, MS; 14 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18 in WILBOR CHRISTENSON FUNERAL HOME, 925 3rd Ave., with the Rev. Harold L. Caste, pastor of Evangelistic Tabernacle, officiating. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
