Aaron Gaston Leffler, 77, St. Paul, died Saturday [May 1, 1999] at his home.
He was born Aug. 22, 1921 in Decatur County to Earl A. and Floe (Hungerford) Leffler. He married Edith M. (Zinser) Leffler on Aug. 22, 1942, and she survives.
Mr. Leffler was a farmer for 50 years. He retired in 1996. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Leffler graduated from St. Paul High School in 1940. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Greensburg.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Phil (Roseaaron) Buening, St. Paul; a son, Rick Leffler, Brownsburg; a sister, Yuma Byard, Greensburg; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Greensburg, with the Rev. Steve Schaftlein officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Greensburg.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home, Greensburg. A prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
