RESTAURANT OWNER FRED KEILLOR DIES

Well-known Greensburg restaurateur Fred H. Keillor, 54, died at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis where he had been in serious condition for the past month.

Mr. Keillor, who had resided at Lake Santee, was born July 18, 1921, in Greensburg, the son of Ronald and Mary Zoellner Keillor.

He was married June 10, 1948, to Betty E. Picker in Millhousen and she survives.

He had worked in the food and restaurant business for many years and prior to returning to Greensburg over 20 years ago. He decorated windows in New Jersey where he resided for a while.

He was an active member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Eagles, the Conservation Club, the Red Men, Welch-Crawley-Kramer American Legion Post, the 40 and 8, the General's Club and VFW, having served in World War II.

Surviving with the widow are five sons, Mark Keillor, Columbus, Barry Keillor, Indianapolis, and Karl and twin sons Dwayne and Dwight, all three of R.R.6, Lake Santee; one daughter, Marlene Keillor, Azalea, Ore.; two brothers, Ronald Keillor, Greensburg, and John Keillor, Indianapolis; and one sister, Mrs. Gene (Margaret) Byrne, Des Plaines, Ill.

One sister preceded him in death, Miss Martha Lee Keillor.

The funeral mass will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. John Geis officiating and burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday and the 40 and 8 will hold a ritualistic service at 9 a.m. Monday. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Sunday at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home.
