Broderick Rashad Danti Dixon, 27, a computer system engineer, died Friday, May 22, 2009, at Birmingham, AL.
Visitation is today from 1-3 pm at Collins Northside Chapel and 4-6 pm at New Mt. Calvary Christian Center, 6300 Yarbrough St., Jackson, MS, followed by a Family/Friends Hour also at New Mt. Calvary from 6-8 pm. Funeral services are 11 am Saturday, May 30, 2009, at Black's Chapel Baptist Church, 3425 Robinson Street in Jackson, MS with burial in the Autumn Woods Memorial Gardens.

Broderick Rashad Danti Dixon was born on January 6, 1982, to Deborah and Loviett Dixon in Jackson, MS.
He attended the Jackson Public Schools and graduated with honors from Forest Hill High School on May 30, 2000. He enrolled in Miles College, Birmingham, Alabama where he was a member of the football and track teams.
Broderick was inducted into the Eta Epsilon Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity while at Miles College.
He graduated from Miles College in May 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science. He pursued further study at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, advancing his computer operations skills.
Broderick accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the New Mt. Calvary Christian Center.
He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Deborah Dixon; father, Loviett Dixon of Jackson, MS; brothers, Roderick Dixon (his twin) and Loviett Dixon, III, Jackson, MS; and sisters, Camika Milton, Consuela (LaShun) Spiva, Jackson, MS and Valencio (Thomas) Grant, of North Carolina.
