MRS. CORA BRIER DIES
AT EARLY HOUR SUNDAY

Mrs Cora Brier, 65, widow of George
W. Brier, residing at 806 South And-
erson street, died at 3:30 o'colck Sun-
day morning, of complications of ail-
ments, after a long illness.
She had been in failing health for
some time and was recently a patient
at the Mercy hospital. Relatives and
friends were aware that this fine life
was nearing an end.
She was one of five children born
to Thomas and Mary Osborn. She
was born March 2, 1864, at Fairfield.
She was united in marriage to George
W. Brier in 1887.
Mrs Brier was a member of the
Presbyterian church. She was a high-
ly esteemed women, a devoted mother
and wife. Many hearts will besad-
dened by the passing away of this
fine woman.
Her husband died twenty-five years
ago. She is survived by one son, Al-
bert Brier, of Elwood, and two broth-
ers, Charles Osborn of Indianapolis,
and Edward Osborn, of Elwood. There
is one granddaughter
The body was removed to the Coph-
er and Fesler funeral home and pre-
pared for burial.
Funeral services will be conducted
at the Presbyterian church Tuesday
afternoon at 2:30 o'colck by the pas-
tor, Rev. Ernest J. Yorger and burial
will be made in the city cemetery be-
side her husband.
