Obituary-The Oakdale Sentinel-March 31, 1932
INGA ALFSON MORRIS
Inga ALFSON was born in Horton, Norway, March 23, 1861. She came when a child to the United States and resided with her parents on a homestead four miles from Wisner. On February 25, 1879 she was married to George MORRIS and resided on a farm near Wisner. They moved to Oakdale about forty nine years ago. Her husband preceded her in death March 3, 1917. When a child she was confirmed in the Lutheran Church and in later life United with the Methodist Church of which she remained a faithful member till called to her eternal reward. Mrs MORRIS passed away at her home Wednesday noon on her birthday, March 23, 1932, after a lingering illness borne with great patience. She leaves to mourn her loss, two daughters, Nellie and Mabel, a son, William, and two grandchildren, Mildred and Elwood, all of Oakdale, and a brother, Alfred ALFSON of Wisner. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church Saturday afternoon and interment was made in the Oakdale Cemetery.
