K. L. Wilson, formerly of this city, died at Sawtelle, California, on the 16th of this month at the age of 75 years.
Judge Wilson is well known to all the older residents of Jackson County and several years ago represented the county in the state legislature.
He was a charter member of the Masonic lodge here and a member of the Will Wendell Post. G. A. R.
He was a veteran of the Civil War, enlisting in Company K, 30th Indiana Infantry and was in the service three and one-half years, eighteen months of which was spent in the Andersonville prison.
He served two terms as probate judge of Jackson County, but owing to poor health, probably contracted at Andersonville, has been an inmate of the National Military Home for several years.
His first wife died in Holton several years ago, but he re-married and is survived by his second wife.
He was laid to rest in the National cemetery near Sawtelle, with military honors.
