A.J. Ammondson Funeral To Be At Fairfield

Ammond J. Ammondson, 75, a resident of Teton county since 1906, and one of the very well known and highly esteemed citizens of the Fairfield district, died very suddenly of a coronary thrombosis at the Great Falls hospital on Tuesday evening. The end came within a day after he was taken to a Great Falls hospital for treatment.

Mr. Ammondson was born in Fayette county, Iowa, on Jan. 25, 1868, and came west in the '90s, settling first at Stockett about 1895. In 1906, he came to Power and lived in that area about ten years. In 1916, he became a homesteader on the Fairfield bench, where he had since made his home. His wife passed away in 1902, and they had one son, John Ammondson, who now lives at Fairfield.

The deceased is survived by one sister, Mrs. Mary Montgomery, of West Union, Iowa; and two brothers, Gunder Ammondson of Green Bank, Wash.; and Hans Ammondson of Berkeley, Calif.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, from the Community church in Fairfield. Interment will be in the Belt cemetery.
