Susan M. Link Funeral services for Susan M. Link, 97, of the Holmstad in Batavia and formerly of Chicago, will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave. (Route 31) Batavia. Interment will be in Mt. Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst, Ill. Visitation is 9:30 until the time of services. Born Oct. 21, 1910, in Chicago, the daughter of Frank and Amanda (nee Pieper) Churchill, she passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, at Michealsen Health Care. Susan was united in marriage June 15, 1929, to Erich Link. She is survived by a son, Dwight Eric Link Sr.; daughter, Judith (John) Mathison; grandchildren, Donald (Karol) Link, Darryl (Cynthia) Link, Patrice (David) Tarlach and Dwight (Karen) Link Jr., Blake (Florence) Mathison, Brooke (Pamela) Mathison, Brent (Sharon) Mathison and Susan Mathison; 22 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sister, Gladys Freie; and brother Albert Churchill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Erich; son, Donald Erich Link; brothers Richard and Homer Churchill; sister, Grace Neumann Quackenbush; and a great-grandson Andrew Link Mathison.
