Andy Pyles Farmington Denver "Andy" Pyles, 85, of Dunkard Mill Run Community, Farmington, died Sunday (June 12, 2005) at Alliance Personal Care Facility at Grafton. He was born May 8, 1920, at Dunkard Mill Run, a son of the late Howard and Ida Snoderly Pyles. Mr. Pyles was retired from Robinson Run Mine and was a farmer. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy at Metz. He is survived by two sons, Howard W. Pyles of Farmington and Donald L. Pyles of Fairview; one daughter, Mrs. Michael ("Betty Lou") Wilson of Fairmont; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and one sister, Josephine Markley of Farmington. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pyles was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Salai Pyles, on March 2, 1977; a great-grandson, Eric Pyles; four brothers, Lewis, Roy, Fred and Leonard Pyles; and three sisters, Beck Nichols, Virginia Markley and an infant sister. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today and Wednesday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Masters Funeral Home in Mannington. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Lewis Maynard officiating. Interment will be at Shinnston Masonic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wayne Pyles, Michael DeVault, Mike DeVault, Gregory Hayhurst, Jim Lance and Brian Pellegrino.
