Services for Dan Danley, 62, Winnsboro, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2009, at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel of the Chimes, Quitman, with the Rev. Charles Etheridge officiating.
Burial will be in Yantis City Cemetery, Yantis.
Mr. Danley died Wednesday May 27, 2009, in Winnsboro. He was born Jan. 17, 1947, in Gorman. He lived most of his life in Wood County and in Winnsboro since 1995. He was a drilling superintendent in the oilfield, and was a member of Pine Street Baptist Church of Winnsboro.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Danley, Winnsboro; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Clay Danley and Patricia, Collinsville, Okla., and Micah Kolb, Alba; one daughter and son-in-law, Melinda Love and Donald, Winnsboro; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Terry George, Bruce Scroggins, Don Smith, Jack Neill, Galen Birdsong, Charles Harrell, Ronnie Marksberry and Sonny Taylor.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
