Daughter of Arthur Howard Hush & Mary V Humphreys Hush.
She had been a homemaker for most of her life. She was a lifelong member of Oakland United Methodist Church, which she joined in 1926. She taught Sunday school for 35 years, was member of the Oakland UMC Methodist Women and was the church historian. She was a member of the South Carroll Senior Citizens and the Super 60's. She was the Hush family historian. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and flowers. She recently celebrated her 100th birthday with family and friends. Surviving are her a son and daughter-in-law, a brother and sister-in-law and a granddaughter and grandson. She was predeceased by brothers Herbert, William, and Emory Donald Hush and a sister, Anna Virginia "Ginny" Reisberg. A funeral service was held at 11am Monday, Feb 3, 2014 at the Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville, MD 21784. In lieu of flowers, the family requested that memorial contributions be sent to Oakland United Methodist Church, 5969 Mineral Hill Road, Sykesville, MD 21784.
