Mattie was the 7th child of 8 children born to her parents-John H. Grounds & Mary Carolina Bland Grounds. The family lived in Arkansas when Mattie was born. They are found on the 1900 census in Ellis Co., Texas. Mattie married Samuel Curtis Price in Ellis Co., Texas in 1906. By 1910 she was living with her parents in Bryan Co., OK. In Dec. of 1912 she was granted a divorce from Samuel C. Price. She married William R. Reynolds in 1913. Mattie lived in various cities in Bryan Co., OK until her death in 1970. She was my maternal great grandmother & I remember visiting her at my Uncle Harv & Aunt Violet's home in Armstrong.
