Alvey, born in Lebanon, formerly was manager of Lehman Motor Company. Surviving are his wife Mrs Anna Berghaus Alvey; a daughter Mrs O E Schilling; four sons, Dr James E Alvey, Jr and John H, Art A and Frank B Alvey; a sister Mrs Mary Sutherland; four brothers, Louis B, T Anthony, Bert and Harvey J Alvey and 11 grandchildren. The body is at Ratterman's 3711 Lexington Road. The funeral will be at 9am Saturday at Holy Spirit Church where he was a member. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
