Mrs. Clagett was an avid gardener, master flower show judge and world traveler. Both she and her husband, Robert, were accomplished, competitive sailors. Their favorite pastimes were cruising and birding, which took them to destinations throughout the world, including Antarctica. In 2008, they moved to Williamsburg, Va., to be closer to their son. She is survived by her husband, Robert P. Clagett; their son, Bryan E. Clagett; and their daughter, Christine E. Clagett of Pennington, N.J. They have four grandchildren.
