A celebration of the life of Ferna Leata (Miller) Bush will be held from 2 to 4 pm next Saturday at the home of Raeann Taylor in Mount Vernon. Mrs. Bush died Wednesday, Feb 9, 2000 at Mt. Baker Care Center in Bellingham. She was 91.
She was born Oct 2, 1908 in Alden, Kan and married Earl J. Bush on March 17, 1928 in Snohomish.
The retired housekeeper had lived in Snohomish County since she was 14 years old before moving to Whatcom County on Aug 2, 1998. She belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Mrs. Bush was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include sister Marcalene Hudson of Bonita, Calif; daughter Gloria Vance of Deming; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and three nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Humanitarian Fund. Arrangements are by Purdy * Walters of Everett.
