Lexington, March 24 --- Lovell H. Pemberton, 73, resident of Lexington about 29 years and a former Port Huron resident, died today in his home after a three day illness.

Mr. Pemberton was born in Almont, April 17, 1879, and married Alvina Lesperance Nov. 10, 1902 in Anchorville.

He is survived by his widow; four daughters, Mrs. Nellie VanBuskirk, Port Huron, Mrs. Madeline Carnahan, Lakeport, Mrs. Eva Rowley and Mrs. Alvina Beedon, both of Croswell; a son, Lovel, Port Huron; 28 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Denis Catholic church, Lexington. Rev. A.J. La Haie, pastor, will officiate. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Hatton funeral home. Remains will be there until the day of the funeral.

Pallbearers will be David Stackpole, Norman Wendling, Peter Kautz, Richard Kautz, David Regan and Charles Ronzio.
