Brenneman, Elmer, son of Nicholas and Catherine (Erb) Brenneman, was born near Tavistock, Ont., March 9, 1908; died at his home, Newton, Ont., Jan. 30, 1962, after a brief illness; aged 53 y. 9 m. 25 d. In 1929, he was married to Edna Leis, who survives. Surviving also are 3 sons (Kenneth, Newton; Arthur, Milverton; and Clifford, at home), one brother (Moses, Hickson), one sister (Kate-Mrs. Simon Roi, Hickson), and 5 grandchildren. Three brothers preceded him in death. He was a member of the Maple View A.M. Church. Funeral services were conducted by Chris O. Erb, Christian Streicher, and Valentine Nafziger.
