William R. Blickhan, 44, of 3743 Washington, died Saturday night at St. Mary’s hospital. He was a lifelong Kansas City resident and was employed by the post office. He was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic church and the Postal Transportation association. He was a veteran of World War II.

Surviving are a brother, Joseph C. Blickhan, 7215 Charlotte, and four sisters, Miss Mary F. Blickhan, Washington; Mrs. Henrietta Matson, Falls Church, Va; Miss Margaret M. Blickhan, 1303 Volker, and Mrs. Isabelle McLaughlin, 1513 East Fifty-second, North. Services will be at 9 o’clock Tuesday at Our Lady of Good Counsel church. Burial will be in Mount St. Mary’s cemetery. The rosary will be said at 8 o'clock tonight at the Mellodv-McGilley-Eylar chapel, Linwood and Woodland.
