In memory of
Thomas Ingersoll Esqr. who
was born Nov. 27th, 1692
& died Oct. 9th, 1748
in the 56 year of his age.
Also Sarah his Ashley wife
was born Mar 17th, 1696. And died Apr.
30, 1778 aged 82 years.
This stone stands but to tell
where their dust lies not what they
was| when saints shall rise, that day will show
the part they acted here below
