He was born in Bunnell and had lived in East Palatka since 1965, coming from Pellicer Creek. He was a self-employed truck driver for many years. He was a Methodist.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years. Elizabeth L. Eatman of East Palatka; daughters, Charlotte Shearer of East Palatka and Betty Patthey of St. Augustine; son, Worth Z. Eatman Jr. of Palm Coast; sisters, Louise Blount of Syracuse, N.Y., Thelma Dupont, Etta Jones and Josephine Eatman, all of Bunnell; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Pellicer Creek Cemetery in St. Johns County. Burial will be in Pellicer Creek Cemetery.
