Services for Paul C. Graves, 58, of 3312 Emory St, will be at 10 am Monday in Pioneer Church of Christ with Walt Rogers, minister, officiating, assisted by Cline Paden, minister of Lubbock Church of Christ.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven-Singleton-Wilson Funeral Home.

Graves died at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness.

The paint contractor was born in Crosbyton and had been a longtime resident of Lubbock. He served in the US Army during WWII and was a post commander of the American Legion Post 575, a member of Pioneer Park Church of Christ and the Veterans of Foreign War.

Survivors include his wife Nadine, two sons, Clifton of North Hollywood, Calif., and Harold, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Paul Leatherwood and Mrs. Carolyn Coffey, both of Austin; five brothers, Cecil, Herbert, Hoyt, Tom, and Earnest Jay, all of Lubbock; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Moore, of Aztec, N.M.; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be George Christian, Gene Barber, G.D. Coffey, Johnny Johnson, Charlie Putnam Sr, and Melvin Jones.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of American Legion Post 575.
