~~Russell N. Barnard, 54, of Orrick, MO, died at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, Aug 5, 1998, at the Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, MO.

Mr. Barnard was born November 9, 1943, near Orrick, to Neil Floyd and Edith (Claypole) Barnard. He married Wanda Lou Harris of Orrick, on March 30, 1964; she survives, of the home. Other survivors include his mother, Edith Barnard of Orrick; three daughters, Debbie A. Hoeppner of Higginsville, MO, Christie Elaine McGlothlin of Orrick and Rebecca Sue Barnard of the home; one brother, Norman Barnard of Orrick; two sisters, Marilyn Page of Parkville, MO and Marianna Clevenger of Orrick; four grandchildren, Nicholas and Christopher McGlothlin and Todd and Evan Hoeppner. He was preceded in death by his father.

Mr. Barnard was currently working as a mill worker for M.F.A. in Lawson for the past 22 years. He had lived in the Orrick area all of his life.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Orrick Fire Department.~~
