On 26 March 1966, at Los Angeles in California, Edmund married Bonnie L. Lutzow.
On 15 January 2001, at the age of fifty seven, Edmund passed away. According to the Social Security Death Index, his last known address, before his death, was Cody, Wyoming. He was laid to rest in the Washington Veterans Home Cemetery.
