JOSEPH B. DULL
Joseph Beatty Dull died from a stroke Saturday night. He had been an invalid for the past twenty years. The stroke which he suffered Saturday afternoon being the immediate cause of his death.
Funeral services were conducted by Dr. E.S. Havighurst in the J. Delbert Dull home Monday afternoon at 12:30. Burial here.
He was born in Kendallville, Indiana on January 3, 1862. He came to Missouri with his mother when just a boy and has resided in or near La Plata all his life with the exception of one year spent in Kansas.
He was married to Maria Ellen Davis in 1884 and five children were born to them. They were Eddie, who died in infancy and is buried in Kansas, J. Delbert Dull of La Plata, Mrs. Oval C. Murray of Burlington, Iowa, Lottie, who was drowned in 1898 and W. Melvin of Kansas City. Mrs. Dull passed away March 12, 1932.
He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Lydia Leora Bragg of La Plata and six grandchildren, Ethelyn and Bobbie Murray of Burlington, Iowa, J. Delbert, Jr. and Dorothy Jane Dull of La Plata and Billy and Judy Dull of Kansas City.
