She was born September 17, 1909 in Salem, IN, to George W. and Amanda (Spaulding) Fultz. Joyce was a teacher for Warren Township School Corporation for 33 years. She was a longtime member of Irvington United Methodist Church, where she was active in Anna Circle. Joyce was a member of Sigma Delta Pi Sorority, Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, and numerous bridge clubs. She was a volunteer "Pink Lady" for Community Hospital for 47 years, and a White Cross Guild member for Methodist Hospital for 27 years.
Joyce is survived by her loving sons, Jay (Shirley) and Fred Franklin ; brother, Alvia Fultz; grandchildren, Dan Franklin, Cheryl Willock, Diane Carter, Jim Franklin, Sue Franklin, and Joy Franklin; 3 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Joyce's parents, and six siblings, preceded her in death.
