ROLLAND D. ‘RON' SEDLACEK OBITUARY

Former Hastings resident Rolland D. "Ron" Sedlacek, 69, of Lake Ozark, Mo. Died Sunday, July 16, 2000 at Lake Regional Health Systems in Osage Beach, Mo.
Services are at 10 a.m. Thursday at Brand-Wilson Funeral Home chapel in Hastings with the Rev. Dean Joy officiating. Burial will be in the Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation is 2-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Sedlacek was born March 5, 1931, to Joseph and Hulda (Watts) Sedlacek in Nora. On Feb. 18, 1951, he married Rosalie Adams. He served in the US National Guard and was commander in Hastings in the late 1960s. He was a conductor for Burlington Northern Railroad until retirement.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge No 50, Scottish Rite and Tehama Temple, all in Hastings.
Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Julia Houdei of St. Louis and Nancy Steck of Jefferson City, Mo.; three sisters, Betty Hansen of Tyler, Texas, Donetta Petitt of Scottsbluff and Moneta Sader of Austin, Texas, and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
