Mrs. Ada Bell Beard, 99, of Kingston died Aug. 4, 1994, at her home. She was born Oct. 4, 1894, at Whorton Creek, Ark., the daughter of William Henry and Rachel Montgomery Whorton. She was a homemaker and the widow of Aubrey Franklin Beard who preceded her in death on Feb. 9, 1977. She was also preceded in death by one brother, four sisters, and one great-grandson, Jeremy Weaver.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ewel and Margaret Beard of Kingston; three granddaughters, Mrs. Jo Allred of Huntsville, Mrs. Nancy Bowen of Lowell, and Mrs. Beth Weaver of Kingston; five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; four nephews and one niece.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at the Kingston Community Church with the Rev. Donnie Villines officiating. Interment was in the Whorton Creek Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Shawn Allred, Gary Bowen, Frank Weaver, Lane Weaver, Cody Weaver, Ken Bowen, and C.B. Cline.

Memorials may be made to the Hematology/Oncology Unit, Arkansas Children's Hospital, in memory of Jeremy Weaver.
