"Papa"

He loved the Lord with all his heart, faithfully took copies of Rev. J. Groce Robinson's Sunday sermon from First Baptist Church, Swannanoa, on tape to shut-ins at area rest homes (along with chewing gum they loved), loved to shoot the breeze with the guys at Swannanoa Barber Shop (and the restaurant next door), and liked blue so much, he wouldn't own a vehicle that was any other color.
