Arthur is the grandfather of this contributor's husband.

He was born Archibald Norman Lashbrook, he was known to his family in Minnesota as Archie. Archie married Sarah E. Glenn (Nellie) and had a daughter, Letty Lashbrook. About 1916 or so Archie walked out of their lives.

He moved to Michigan where in 1917 he may have married Dorothy Davis in Genessee County.

In 1918 he married Edna Fenton.

He was known to his family in Michigan as Arthur.

His obituary, from an unknown source newspaper, read:

"Following services in the Nixon Funeral Chapel yesterday morning, Arthur N. Stevens, 73, was buried in Ferndale Cemetery, Wyandotte, with the Rev. Dr. Charles MacDonald officiating. Mr. Stevens died Sunday in Wyandotte General Hospital, where he had been for three days.

A native of Minnesota, he was born April 9, 1879, and had lived 27 years in this area. He was a retired plasterer for the Ford Motor Company and made his home at 1044 Farnum, Lincoln Park.

Surviving are his wife, Edna; two sons, Arthur, junior, of Lincoln Park, and George, of Corpus Christi, Texas; five grandchildren, and three sisters."
