Miss Ruth Adams, 48 South Wayne Street, Danville, died, November 7, at the Hendricks County Hospital at the age of 86. A life-time resident of Danville, she was born May 29, 1882, the daughter of Thad S. and Effie Campbell Adams. She was a member of St. Augustine's Episcopal Church, Browning and Coterie clubs of Danville, Twenty-Year Club of L. S. Ayres where she was employed for over 20 years in the Book Department. She attended Indiana University where she was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority and was a charter member of the Delta Kappa Chapter of Tri Kappa sorority.
Funeral services were Saturday afternoon from the Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with Father John Roof officiating. Burial was in the Danville South Cemetery.
