Annie Acton, age 58, was found dead, Friday morning, at her home, 52 North Kennedy Street, Danville, by her son, Donald Acton. She was the widow of the late Francis Acton who preceded her in 1964.
A native of Ohio, she was born, October 3, 1911, the daughter of the late Charles Dever and Opha Long Dever, who survives and is a patient in the National Nursing Home, here.
She had been a resident of Danville since 1950, moving here from Shelbyville. She was a former employee for the West Side Cleaners for 10 years.
Funeral services were Monday afternoon from the Weaver Funeral Home, Danville. The Rev. Everett Smock officiated with burial in the Danville South Cemetery.
Surviving with the son and mother are one other son, Phil Acton, Sneads, Florida; three grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters, Mrs. Rita Caylor, Ralph and William Dever, all of Danville, Mrs. Louise Jackson and Carl Dever, both of Noblesville, Leeper Dever of Atlanta, and Alfred Dever, Romney.
