GEORGE M. HIBBS DIES ON MONDAY

George Marion Hibbs, 89, retired Mazie farmer, died at this home in Mazie, Oklahoma on January 13, 1964. Born in Gore, Oklahoma, he was a lifelong resident of Oklahoma and had lived in Mayes County the past 16 years.

Services will be held at 2pm Wednesday in the Wagoner First Baptist Church with Pastor Glen Smith officiating.

Survivors are his wife, Minnie; five sons, Lester of Chouteau, Hilbert, George and Jimmy, all of Tulsa, and Oscar of Owasso; two daughters, Mrs. Edna Brown of Tulsa and Mrs. Janie Southern of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; one brother, Walter Hibbs and a sister, Mrs. Eva Barrick, both of Gore; 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Hendricks Cemetery, between Ft. Gibson and Tahlequah, under the direction of Green Funeral Home of Wagoner.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
