She was born February 6, 1908 in Preston, Idaho, the daughter of Hienrick and Freida Mockli. She married Andrew Flecter, Charles Jensen, and Les Brown. All preceded her in death.
She lived most of her life in Preston. Mena helped rear many of her 14 brothers and sisters after her mother dided when Mena was 18 years old. Prior to marring Les Brown, she worked at Estesen's Variety Store and Mereda's Vogue Shop in Preston.
Mena enjoyed visits from grandchildren, brothers and sisters.
She loved cats.
