MRS VERNA POWERS, 69, of New Milford, Pa died at 5 am Thursday at her home. She is survived by her husband, Dr F T Powers; three daughters, Mrs Adam Erat and Francis Valentine, all of New Milford, Pa, and Mrs Frederick Lamb of Susquehanna, Pa; one sister, Mrs Walter Mosher of New Milford; two brothers; John Bailey of McGraw, and Leon Bailey of New Milford; five grandchildren. The body was removed to the O E Tuttle Funeral Home Hallstead, Pa, and returned to her home where friends may call Friday afternoon and evening.
POWERS—The funeral of Mrs Verna Powers, will be held at her home on Main St, New Milford, Pa, Saturday, at 2:30 pm. The Rev Richard J Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in New Milford Cemetery. Arrangements by O E Tuttle. Hallstead Pa. Friends may call at her home Friday afternoon and evening.
