he Daily Notes, Canonsburg PA, Wednesday 05 September 1928, front page - Mrs. Maggie M. Craighead Dies At Her Home Today --- MRS. MAGGIE M. CRAIGHEAD, aged 74 years, wife of MARSHALL B. CRAIGHEAD, died at 9 a.m. today at her home at 103 South Jefferson Avenue, following a lingering illness. Mrs. Craighead was a daughter of JAMES and SUSAN SILL ESPY and was born May 12, 1854 at Clifton, Pa. The greater part of her life was spent in Canonsburg and she took an active part in church work, being a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was a teacher in the Sunday school and president of the missionary society until ill health prevented her from attending. Besides her husband she is survived by one sister and one brother: MRS. J. C. BEBOUT, of Eight-Four, and J. T. ESPY, 2 East College Street, Canonsburg. Funeral services will be conducted by Dr. G. G. Kerr at the residence, 103 South Jefferson Avenue, Friday, at 2:30 p.m. (e.s.t.). Interment will be in Oak Spring Cemetery.
